About me
Hi I’m Magnus! a passionate and lifelong musician, I started playing the piano at 6 years old and was taught by the prestigious concert pianist, Eva Schwartz, in my native country Norway. I greatly valued the guidance and support she offered. Through her excellent piano lessons, concerts and participating in competitions, I developed a technical proficiency and a diverse piano skillset which would not have been possible otherwise.

For me, the most rewarding part of teaching piano is the journey, not the outcome. I am very process-oriented, and I truly value creating bespoke piano lessons tailored to each of my student’s needs, whether you are a beginner or expert, I will be able to provide the piano tuition for you.

I have been the Musical Director in pit bands for musical theatre, and have much experience in playing in bands and ensembles across the UK and beyond. This has given me a wealth of experience not just within the world of music, but also the wider the music industry.

In 2023 I completed my Popular Music Performance bachelor degree at BIMM University, and through my studies I’ve been playing gigs and collaborating with artists through songwriting and session playing, which has provided me with a wealth of experience in a diverse range of styles and genres ranging from classical to RnB.
