Dom
Piano teacher in Hangleton
About me
Hi there!
My name is Dom and I am a Brighton-based piano teacher, bass player and violinist. Music has always been something that I have loved and I want to nurture that passion in other people in a fun and engaging way. My music education started with the violin when I was 6 years old! In those early days, I took part in a number of competitions as a solo violinist and also played in two of Brighton’s youth orchestras.
I progressed to playing the piano when I was 10 years and having moved through all of the grades, I’m currently working towards my Grade 8. I achieved my Grade 8 on bass guitar in February 2020 and then studied for a diploma at BIMM for a year in bass guitar performance, for which I achieved a distinction. I also have experience teaching children bass guitar, sailing and windsurfing in a water sports centre and I know how to make learning really fun.
When I am not studying and playing music I enjoy skateboarding and meeting up with friends. I am also in several Brighton-based bands. My studio is based in Hangleton, with a large dedicated practice room which I try to make as comfortable and relaxing an environment for which to learn piano. There is free parking available outside the house. I look forward to meeting you!
