About me

I set up the company in 2011 and after the Brighton Piano School was well established, I came to Bristol to set up our second school. I currently run the piano school here in Bristol as well as performing, teaching, composing and creating the numerous piano courses that our teachers use. Further to this, provide any necessary training to all of the teachers within our schools.

By taking lessons with me you would be getting a thoughtful and dedicated piano teacher who achieved their Grade 8 at 11 years old, was awarded the top music scholarship to Lancing College and then studied music at SurreyUniversity.

I have been trained by some of the best teachers in the country. For example, Timothy Arnold, who I studied under for 5 years, the Executive Director at ABRSM. I also studied with Peter Croser at Surrey University and Terry Albright at Chichester College.

Since 1998, when I began teaching, 100% of my students have passed their ABRSM examinations and above 70% of those have been distinctions.

Fortunately, during my career as a performer, I have had the opportunity to tour with big trip hop acts, swing bands and perform solo classical piano to thousands of people all over the world.

As a composer, I have collaborated with many fantastic companies such as, Panasonic and the BBC, creating music for film and television. My work has also been showcased at several arts festivals including Lincoln Arts Festival, Brighton, Digital Arts Festival and White Night.

I am a fun and patient person who teaches in a relaxed and encouraging manner. I believe it is my job to inspire my students and empower them with the tools to become self-motivated and successful pianists.
