About Me

Hello, I’m Hannah! I have been a piano teacher for nearly 10 years, to children, adults beginners and experts alike. I am friendly and welcoming, and am adept at playing, and can focus our piano lessons on, a wide variety of genres.

Music has been a lifelong passion of mine; at the age of 16 I received my Grade 8 in piano from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and continued to study under concert pianist Ruth McGinley in Derry. From there, I went on to the University of Chichester to study a BA in Music Performance.

Today, I'm a multi-instrumentalist and work as a professional drummer as well as a pianist. This has led me to work in a vast variety of genres and styles from pop, rock, musical and immersive theatre to classical and jazz.

Learning how to play the piano is a skill you will have for life, the rewards are huge and no matter what your inspiration to learn is, I always make sure that the music you love is at the centre of your piano practice and you are working towards reaching your goals.
