About me
Nothing gives me more pleasure than playing music, and I want others to find the same joy in developing their skills. My aim when teaching is to help others foster an energetic and enjoyable relationship with their instrument.

I have a dedicated practise and recording space in Hove that I endeavour to make a comfortable and inspiring space to learn. The piano has been a lifelong passion of mine, having started when I was 6 years old, reaching my Grade 8 at 16.

I have been based in Brighton for coming up to 6 years, having moved here from Glasgow where I studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Brighton’s music scene is overflowing with talent and energy, and I love that teaching piano enables me to introduce other people into that vibrancy! I play in many contexts around town and in Portslade, both as a soloist and a session musician in other projects. Whilst piano is my first instrument, I also work and play as a trumpet player and tap dancer.

My main passion is for all kinds of jazz and improvised music…
